Dr. CarolMarie Smith

Dr. CarolMarie Smith is the Founder of GLLOW School of Ministry and has been in full time ministry for over twenty years. Formerly she was the founder of Anna’s Gate and He’s My Husband International, ministries to the widow and the fatherless. Dr. CarolMarie has been a widow herself since 1999 and has a passion to see lives restored and empowered with fresh purpose. GLLOW represents the Orphan (or fatherless) and the Widow being “a discovered treasure!” Not only did God put a synergy between the widow and the fatherless, but they both have a special place in God’s heart!  

Dr. CarolMarie is an international speaker and writer, authoring courses and manuals such as the “Widows Ministry Leadership Training” manual that has been translated into seven languages and used around the world and now available through GLLOW School of Ministry. Dr. CarolMarie has also authored GLLOW courses that train widows, fatherless and leaders, and certifies them, as Prayer and Community Chaplains for businesses and communities.  She serves actively as a Business and Community Chaplain for several organizations and also is an advocate for those forgotten in society. 

Dr. CarolMarie’s teachings have established widows’ ministries across the United States, Central and South America, the Middle East, Asia, and the United Kingdom, representing over 20 countries she is aware.  Her desire is to see a network of effective praying widows around the world!

Dr. CarolMarie received her Honorary Doctorate in Divinity through Manna Bible College for her years of pioneering ministry to the widow and leaders in India. With a heart for the widow and to see the widow’s quality of life enhanced, Dr. CarolMarie connected with Manna Ministries to establish five sewing centers in India. The Manna Bible Schools use her materials to educate pastors on the power of the widows’ prayers, which makes a cultural difference!

She received her Associates of Ministry through Ministry International Institute with her credentials certified by Dr. Tony Slay. She trained and was commissioned as a Chaplain through Lee University Seminary and with Crisis Response International. Chuck Pierce of Glory of Zion and Global Spheres, both well-known international ministries, commissioned Dr. CarolMarie, recognizing her gifting and calling as an International Minister of the Gospel.

Dr. CarolMarie studied Biblical Hebrew through the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Having a heart for Israel along with her heart for prayer, Dr. CarolMarie studied the power of the “Watchman” at the Jerusalem House of Prayer for All Nations in Jerusalem under the leadership of Tom and Kate Hess. She has been instrumental in connecting with JHOPFAN providing harps for widows to play across Israel for establishing borders through intercession.

Between 2004-2011 the Lord showed Dr. CarolMarie, in several encounters, the power of the widows securing the borders, as He opened up the books and scrolls of the widow to her. She has seen that lives, businesses and nations can be affected through the widows’ prayers. If God certainly hears the widow’s cry (Exodus 22:23) and He will secure her borders or territory (Pro 15:25), then it is important in God’s plan to empower the widow in prayer. Dr. CarolMarie’s heart is to train up and empower widows to be Prayer and Community Chaplains as treasured assets, giving the widow fresh purpose and provision, as she establishes righteousness in her areas of authority. This is done through the courses that are available through GLLOW School of Ministry. Individuals and organizations can also sponsor widows and fatherless in taking these courses and see a difference in their own lives and businesses. It’s James 1:27 and what the Father desires!

GLLOW School of Ministry

"GLL" is Hebrew from the root meaning, "discovered treasure". The "O" represents "Orphan" (or fatherless) and the "W" is for "Widow". The logo is not only a globe showing "International ministry" but a widow holding a child incorporating the mandate of James 1:27 to the church. The letters wonderfully hold Hebraic revelation and significance as designed by an Israeli graphic artist. Blue represents revelation, green represents life, and gold represents God’s Glory! The mission of GLLOW is “To Empower and Position widows into greater Divine Purpose.” Our Vision includes, “To provide widows training and a platform to be a treasured asset to their communities, including the fatherless and the marketplace, bringing Kingdom change that glorifies God!”
