Prayer Chaplaincy Course Overview
The GLLOW Prayer Chaplaincy Course follows the True Worship foundational course and it is the first part of the Chaplaincy Program. The purpose of the course is to help the future GLLOW Chaplain identify their call, gifts, talents, and heart for ministry and learn how to be led by Holy Spirit, knowing how to pray as watchmen over your territory. As you move into this deeper understanding of your relationship with God and His plan, you will be able to minister from your home or out in the community. This course’s foundation is understanding the heart of God regarding the widow’s prayer and bringing Heaven to earth, whether you are a widow or not.
The GLLOW Prayer Chaplaincy Course can be done as a stand-alone course or as a part of the Chaplaincy program. It is certified through Dr. CarolMarie Smith and GLLOW School of Ministry as well as endorsed by Ministry International Institute, an accredited organization. (Contact our office if you need more details on accreditation.) Upon completion of this course, a GLLOW certificate will be awarded when requirements are met as a Prayer Chaplain. Completing this program is not a guarantee of a paid position as a Chaplain. The Chaplaincy Program certification gives you an open door to minister in many arenas and organizations (like businesses, hospitals, nursing homes, prisons etc.) providing services such as prayer, crisis and grief support, weddings, funerals, baptisms, etc. where non-Chaplains may not have access.
